For the client (joining instructions & treatment agreement)
1. Upon initial consultation, your therapist will carry out a risk assessment, discuss your lifestyle, past medical history and current concerns. This is to ensure your treatment is safe and appropriate for your individual needs. Any information collected will remain confidential and used solely for treatment purposes.
2. Our therapists maintain high standards of professionalism and personal hygiene, and we kindly ask clients to do the same. This helps create a comfortable, respectful and relaxing treatment environment for everyone.
3. Please wear appropriate, comfortable clothing for your appointment. Excessive layers may limit treatment effectiveness.
At no point during treatment will a client be completely unclothed. Underwear should remain on throughout the treatment, in line with industry standards. In some cases, a bra strap or fastening may need to be adjusted to allow access to the upper back, however this will always be discussed with you beforehand. There is no circumstance in which clothing from the lower half of the body will be fully removed.
4. Lucy Hall Massage's standard operating procedure is to provide clients with privacy while changing for treatment. Your therapist will step outside the treatment room while you undress to your comfort level and position yourself appropriately. Once you are ready, please let your therapist know and treatment will begin.
5. If at any point during your treatment you feel uncomfortable or unwell, please notify your therapist immediately.
6. Please arrive promptly for your appointment time. If you arrive significantly early, our therapists may still be with another client and we may not be able to allow access to the treatment space until your scheduled appointment time.
